A Look At Planning Your Wedding Planning your wedding is one of the most exciting endeavors you will have in your life. The rings have been chosen and the proposal is officially accepted, now to make the decisions concerning the ceremony. Take a minute to relax and breath deeply to clear your thoughts. Setting up a budget is the best place to start because it will help determine the size of the guest list. Keep in mind that both the bride and groom will have people they want to be invited, so keeping a list of his and hers could come in very handy. Once the list is completed you will know the number of invitations and other printed matter that will be needed. Choosing the wedding gown and bridesmaids dressing is not the extent of the wardrobe. You also need to plan for the groom and his party to coordinate colours and contrasts. Each set of parents will need to be attired in something appropriate, and you and the groom will need clothes for after the reception and your honeymoon plans. This will be one of the most memorable days of your lives, and you will want pictures to others in the future. You can choose a photographer for taking pictures before, during and after. If you hire a professional this can result in a lot of photos, so you may want to consider having a video made, instead. You may have a friend who plays the keyboard and wants to play as you walk down the aisle. If you have chosen someone to sing, you need to arrange a time for a practice session for the keyboardist and vocalist. There also needs to be music for the reception and a live band could be a good choice. Or you might want to consider a DJ, or Disco for holding the reception. A wedding rehearsal is usually held a day or two before the ceremony. This is a chance for everyone to know exactly what they are suppose to do, and when they are suppose to do it. Afterward there is a rehearsal dinner party, which needs reservations made for it, in advance. You can choose the menu, or allow your guests to make their own choices once the group has arrived at the facility. The reception is the time when gifts are opened, and you will give gifts to your wedding party, and both sets of parents get gifts. Speeches by the groom and best man are given during this time. And for the tables and seating you may want chocolate favours, and other little keepsakes for the guests to take with them. The honeymoon is when you will finally get to relax and begin life as a couple. Choosing your honeymoon destination should be something you do together so that both of you can enjoy it. Make arrangements well in advance for the amount of time you will be there, what type of transportation you will take, buy the tickets and look forward to your new life, together. Planning a wedding is not as complicated as it may seem. Simply take one step at a time, and work together with the other people involved, and all will go as it should.
